Relapse or aggravation of preexisting or chronic illnesses, as well the developments and after-effects of accidents that occur before the insurance policy is taken out

Resulting from:

• a burglary;
• a fire;
• water damage;
• a natural, weather or climate event.

Directly affecting one of the following properties:

• the primary or secondary home of the Insured;
• their farm;
• their professional premises if the Insured is an artisan, a business owner, or an independent professional.

And requiring the presence of the Insured on site, on a date which falls during the rental period, for any administrative procedures related to the damage or for repairs to the damaged property.

On the condition that the person is enrolled as a job seeker at the Unemployment Office (Pôle Emploi), and that the job or internship is paid and starts before or during the booking. Modification of the type of work contract is not covered (e.g. conversion of a temporary contract into a permanent contract).

On the condition that the paid leave was granted in writing before the trip enrollment, except for heads of companies, independent professionals, artisans and temporary show business workers.

Another unexpected event, whatever it may be, that constitutes an immediate, real and serious obstacle, which prevents the departure of the insured and/or the activities planned during the booking period.
The unexpected event must have a direct causal link to the inability to depart.
If the insured cannot provide proof that the event entitling the services actually occurred and the information provided does not prove the substance of the facts, the insurer may refuse their request.
As an exception, you are liable for a 25% deductible.
